Events
Performances and goals are put at a premium importance in the studio. Students perform in two recitals per year, several performance classes, adjudications, community events, honors recitals, and masterclasses. This enriches their growth and overall experience.
Awards
Students play in multiple adjudications throughout the year! They perform in PianoFest, National Federation of Music Clubs, and MTNA local auditions and state competition. Some participate in other competitions as well. In the adjudications, the highest rating you can receive is a Superior. This past year (2024-2025) the studio had 17 students participating in 46 adjudications and we received 44 Superiors.
Students also work for studio recognition. Students can earn the points award, overachiever award, performance award, and young virtuoso award. Awards are good incentives for students to practice and nice recognition for hard work!
Award Recognition
2025- Elena received the Honorable Mention Award (only one of three awards among 12 of the finest 3rd graders in the state) at TNMTA State competition. She was also the winner of the studio Overacheiver and Performance Award. In past years, she has received Runner-Up at State, all Superior ratings, and Young Virtuoso Award for the studio. Congratulations to Elena!

These students received YVA by consistent practice and achievement, high level of performance and special honors, and standing out among the other (all terrific) students! Way to go!
2024- Kaylee received the Honorable Mention Award for the 7th grade division at TNMTA State competition. She performed a Scarlatti Sonata, Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No. 4, and The Firefly by Bilotti.
