Events
Performances and goals are put at a premium importance in the studio. Students perform in two recitals per year, several performance classes, adjudications, community events, honors recitals, and masterclasses. This enriches their growth and overall experience.

Awards
Students play in multiple adjudications throughout the year! They perform in PianoFest, National Federation of Music Clubs, Lipscomb Piano Achievement Competition, Knoxville International Piano Competition, and MTNA local auditions and state competition. In the adjudications, the highest rating you can receive is a Superior. This past year (2024-2025) the studio had 18 students participating in 55 adjudications and we received 54 Superiors.
Students also work for studio recognition. Students can earn the points award, overachiever award, performance award, and young virtuoso award. Awards are good incentives for students to practice and nice recognition for hard work!
